How melodramatic can you get! LOL
Although, I'm going to argue that the very same has been true of men that follow football like sheep for decades! Firstly, 'supporting' a club just to get 'in' with their mates. Secondly, leaving their wives/girlfriends and/or families to go to a pub with their friends to watch GROWN MEN in shorts on a stupidly large screen. Thirdly, to drink beer and be in merriment with other men: football is one of the rare occassions that men hugging other men is socially acceptable btw. And finally, to cheer and celebrate with their male friends (if their team has won) or cus and scorn at the world and universe and everything in it (if they lose). Only to continue the night's merriment and be out all night, or come home and ignore wife/girlfriend/kids as they're too busy sulking 'cos "we lost". "WE"! Who are we anyway?!!! THEY the team go and do all the work, you just sit on your fat ar*e in a pub shouting at the screen pouring beer down your throat!
And what has this to do with the end of humanity you ask? Simple really: FOOTBALL IS GAY!
