Well Si was due home from the rig today, but his helicopter flight got cancelled because of thebad weather in Scotland :(
He's based in Shetland, not really sure what the weather is to be honest, he says something about the wind? So there not allowed to fly because it's too dangerous. Hoping to have a flight at 8am tomorrow morning! We shall see, I know too well of Scotland's weather tales from Yvonne and Fi lol :lol:

Just checked the wind for Shetland tomorrow, tonight the wind is 46mph with gusts up to 65mph, tomorrow the wind dies down to around 10mph so I would think he'll probably fly to the mainland.

Well had an email from Si early this morning and he says things aren't looking good. His rig is further away from shetland more near Norway (yes he just decided to tell me this :lol: ) so he is still waiting to hear :(

Not a good start to my day!

Poor you and Si. Hope the weather sorts itself out up in the highlands (or nearly Norway as he now tells you :lol: )
So far we have snow - about 2 or 3 cm. Looks to freeze tonight, but mroe forecast for the rest of the weekend

Ah really Fi? He says it's still not looking good! The helicopter lands in Aberdeen so will see!
