Sorry but have to rant!!

I upgraded my phone in October and since then I've had a total nightmare.

1 - they part exhanged my old phone but when they credited my bill the halfed the amount with no reason - its taken me 3 months to sort.

2 - they have over charged me by £8 - £12 on my last 3 bills

as a parent money matters and I hate worrying about how much is going to be taken out of my account each month. I've been with Voadafone as long as I've had a mobile phone and if you had asked me to recommend them 6 months ago I would have done at the drop of a hat but now I'm regretting renewing my contract as I'm stuck with them for 2 more years.

I've complained in writing so will wait to see what they say. If not good I think I'll have a look at my insurance and see if I can cancel the contract as they difinately going to keep overcharging me for the next 21 months!

Rant over!!!

That's terrible hun! Good luck with the complaint, I hope you get it sorted. I'm with Vodafone too but luckily I've never had any problems. Keep on complaining until someone listens xxx

Sounds like a nightmare! Hopefully you find something with your insurance so you can get rid of it. It's horrible when you get overcharged

I'm shocked , as I said I've been with vodafone forever and have never had any problems so I think its why I have taken it so hard.

Will keep you updated on what happens!

We upgraded our phones last night it took from 4.30 till about 8.30 to do cos our address kept showing up as old address. Was really doing our heads in then all of a sudden on that live chat thing where you talk to someone straight away...she fixed it!!! Why they couldnt have done that straight away like we asked at 4.30 I dont know!!!
Hope you get yours sorted hunni x

Oooooooooooooh I'm super annoyed.

I wrote my original complaint letter on the 22nd of January and on Monday I still hadn't had a response so chased it up via email saying how disgusted I was that I was having to chase them and telling them I wanted a formal reply in letter format and guess what! I got an email response this morning and still no letter.

They said that all the issues I'd had have all Bern rectified so basically told me case closed. I was livid. The reason I complained was because they have overcharged me and not credited my account what I've been promised and it has taken me contacting them an amazing amount of times to get things sorted.

I'm disgusted. I was I hadn't renewed my contract and feel worried on how much they are going to keep overcharging me. As you all know being a patent means watching the pennies and so I hate living in fear about my mobile phone bill.

I really feel Vodafone aren't abiding by the contract that I have with them so wonder if there is anyway of getting out of my contract and going with someone else.

Anyone have any advise?

Maybe worth giving them a call and speaking to disconnections (finding out how much it wud be to leave etc) they usually have lots more power with offers and discounts etc than other depts so may do something for you? You could always see if you can reduce ur tarriff right down to the very lowest (may take a few months to do this though cos sometimes you can only reduce by 1 tarriff at a time) then at least you could just pay them a minimal amount, not use the amount but get a cheap deal somewhere else with another network that you can trust? Sounds like they are a right royal pain in the arse! Good luck x

Sorry you've having such a nightmare with them hun - I think all the mobile networks are as bad as each other, a load of money-grabbing crooks  My hubby has been having trouble with 3 and it's taken him MONTHS to get it sorted out. I think Tonks' advice is good though, good luck with it! x

Thank you. I'm going to wait until they respond to the email I sent this morning and if no luck then I will contact them as suggested.

I do have insurance so hoping if I do cancel my contract it will be quite easy!
