As some of you may remember, I came off the depo to try and get my body and it's hormones rolling for when Geoff and I tried to conceive in the next year or so. I came of the depo and went on the combined pill. After trying 3 different brands, feeling like I was pregnant, lots of depression, nausea, migraines and all sorts of side effects, I ditched the pill for the mini pill. I decided to go for th mini pill as my Doc told me that I was sensitive to oestrogen and as I was fine on the depo and had used it before, I decided to give it a whirl.

The last depo jab I had was August last year. I went on the combined pill last October, and on the mini pill at the beginning of the year and I had an AF 4 weeks ago. I thought it may be a one-off due to stress etc, but AF appeared yesterday too and is still here. So this is the second AF and it seems to be regular so far. Therefore, I think that the depo is out of my system and I'm a little bit closer to getting ready to begin to try to conceive. I'm not sure when that'll happen as yet, but we both want it to happen sooner rather than later, and I want to have another and have lost all my baby fat for when I'm 30 too! So that only gives us less than 2 years!

Is anyone else on the mini pill? How did you get on with it?
