Came home on Wednesday and last night we booked for next year! Had a fab time at Parkdean, but next year we are Haven bound once more Off to Hafan y Mor again. Went a few years ago and had a fab time, so decided to go back although this time it will be half board and in an apartment rather than a self catering caravan. Decided on half board as the cost was about £20 more than a caravan and there is no way I could feed 6 of us for £20 for a week! Didn't expect the half board holidays to be half price like the caravans but they were so would have been stupid not to book it! It's costing less than £100 per person for one of their top range apartments, buffet breakfast and 3 course evening meal! Can't say fairer than that!!! Kids will still get a week in a caravan though as we'll head down to FIL's for the second week.
Sounds very good. I used to love caravan holidays as a child. We used to go twice a year to Butlins in Minehead or Skegness, but usually Minehead, or on a Haven holiday in the Isle of Wight. I have the best memories on those holidays (up until my parents split when I was 11!) Used to love the swimming pools with the flumes, and the Wizzy Clubs at Butlins, the Tiger Club at Haven (won a talent competition once and won another holiday - my friend and I were the only ones who entered ) the evening entertainment with the little kids' 'bars' where we could get fruity cocktails with plastic animals and umbrellas in. You must be creating some lovely memories for your children. We hope to do the same with ours
