I am having blurred vision in my left eye - not all the time but it is becoming more frequent now. I have googled it and seems it could be many things but since ive had this for near on a month now I think I should go see the doctor...

You are probably just scareing yourself by looking up the internet.
It is probably just your eyesight deteriating.
Go to your doctor, maybe optician too and get checked, instead of diagnosing yourself, and making yourself scared.
I hope you are alright and try not to worry.

i had a similar thing in my right eye i was so worried it lasted for a month before it went back to normal if your really worried see your gp hun hope everythings ok xx

The net is a fab thing but it doesn't half scare you when you're ill! Get to the docs to get checked out properly & put your mind at rest hun. The chances are it's probably nothing xxx

vicky i would say go the opticians first if they find nothing then the doctors but defo STOP googling it will scare you to bits hope you get it sorted out quickly XXX

i went to the opticians a few months back - eyes are fine.

Saw doc today, she doesn't think its serious - cant find anything wrong with me herself but has referred me to a neurologist because she thinks it may be related to migraines - though the migraines i have are nothing like this!

It could be an "Aura" indicating the start of a migraine. (similar to the Aura epilepsy sufferers feel before the onset of a fit). I get an aura with my migraine - but not all the time. It is only when going to be a major migraine. Mine is wee marching dots (look like wee ants ) and they march 4 wide in a backwards C shape.
Might be worth keeping note of when you get it, and if sore head etc follows it. Oh and STOP GOOGLING SYMPTOMS!
Hope you get it sorted soon chick. I know how it feels and it is not nice.

I did think migraine too, but you never said anything about headaches or anything so didn't say anything.
My migraines used to start with blurred tunnel vision, now they start with the same darn ants as Fi's. I'd rather have the tunnel vision, the ants are goddamn annoying!

I actually get something like £ signs when I get a migraine - wish it meant I was coming in to money or something!

i dont think this vision thing is anything to do with migraines - I do seem to be having more headaches but not with the vision prob - I thought maybe the headaches were through eye strain or something...oh well we will find out soon enough
