Would we not be better having a size limit on avatars too to help the site run faster?

I know the size limit is 120 x 120 but some of the avatars go up to 37,000 bytes-ish.Thats bigger than the siggies!

the site wont let you add them unless there under 25kb so cant see how they would be 37 hun ????

It's actually 24kb, so they are smaller than the siggies (only just though!!) What one is at 37kb? I want to know how they did it as animated ones are a pain to reduce to under 24 :lol:
