Well yesterday was my last day at work, got told in December I was being made redundant, been there for 6 years so I'm a bit down in the dumps today. Also a bit stressed found out I'm pregnant last week, so not actively looking for work as don't see the point but unsure what to do about job etc and what I'm entitled to xx

Oh no poor you. No idea who you contact to find out what you will be entitled to. Although I know when redundancies happened in Neil's work, there was a girl pregnant and she lost her job - there was no job there to kept open for her.

Hope you get it all sorted soon though
On a plus side, huge congrats on the pregnancy

Huge congratulations on your pregnancy!

Not sure what you would be entitled too. Don't think it would be job seekers because like you say even if you did get a job you would end up back on maternity leave lol! Id say the same as Yvonne and book yourself an appointment with citizens advice.

Well after looking into it all I was told I would be entitled to nothing, but now apparently I am, got a interview at job centre next week for job seekers allowance and a load of forms to apply for maternity allowance and maternity grant. Bit annoyed at the so and so that told me I could get nothing!xxx
