Know she is now just over 4 months but today she seams to be so grown up by trying to sit up, hold her bottle herself i thought i would have a trip down memory lane and share it with anyone who was intrested xx

Ah, that made me cry! Are you in Nottingham? Just wondered as my nearest hospital is the City Hospital x

Yeah im in Nottingham and sorry i didnt mean to make you cry
QMC is the closest one to me (where my other two was born) but due to my mum being in City as she was going to have a bone marrow transplant and i went up and sat with her during the day and because my other two was premies so loads of check ups was gonna happen it would make it easier if i went to city.
Im so glad i did now though as i did find it alot better in the way Lily-Mae and myself was treated/cared for x

That's really good to hear that your care was good. How's your Mum doing?
Lucy was born at Queens as City was fully booked - our care during labour was great, couldn't fault it, but the after care was pretty poor.

What a lovely story. Neo natal is truly a wonderful place, and glad Lily_mae was only there for a short time. I had never appreciated it's worth till Abbie spent almost 3 weeks (in and out) of High dependency. Was she put onto breathing equipment - that is what i found the most frightening when I finally got to see Abbie
