I was supposed to be doing a first aid exam for my dad today and mum was looking after the girls for me. About half 9 I had finally got all 3 dressed and went upstairs to get myself dressed. Suddenly the door goes, and there is a girl I went to school with holding my mum up.
The daftie had been changing from her normal specs to sunglasses, lost her footing and ended up in the road. 2 wee men helped her up and at that Donna passed

. She brought mum up to my house and I knew instantly her wrist was broken.
Aunt Margaret was phoned and as soon as she arrived we headed to A&E . Meanwhile I'm trying to phone Neil my sis and my dad ( who had his phone off as he was teaching)
Mum spent the morning saying her wrist was just strained - erm no it's not
So yes it is broken, I rushed over to do the exam for dad who was stressed out his box. Neil cancelled his meetings to come home as Aunt M had people coming over at 5pm for dinner.
So mum going to have a stookie on her arm while we on holiday - talk about a tan line
Back to fracture clinic tomorrow - argh am down a baby sitter for a while

hehehe
In the meantime, does anyone have spare cotton wool we can use to wrap my mother up in?
