my daughters have been going to ballet classes, but now it is getting more expensive. it is working out at about £7 per hour. Does this seem reasonable or is this over the top? i have been trying to find a cheaper dance teacher, but they don't have any in my area. my daughters are 8 years old and soon 5 years old ( in Sept.).

Hi
Is it £7 each? If so, that is alot. If they enjoy it its worth it, but depends on the finances I suppose x

£7 each sounds a lot. My girls are 2+3 and do a tap and ballet class combined that is 1 hour long and it costs me £3.50 an hour for first then disount to £3 for second.

I've just enrolled Isabelle in ballet & tap lessons and they are £3.50 for 45 minutes, and there were also cheeper options avalible, so it does seem quite expensive too me.

yes it's working out about £7 per hour per child. i thought this seemed high, but had nothing to compare it with. dance teachers must be making a lot of money as she has 15-20 girls per class.

That does sound quite expensive considering how long the lesson is!
Have you considered any other dance classes?
