How up to the minute is this?

Leah said last night can I use laptop to do my homework.I thought she meant to reasearch something but when I looked she was filling out a multiple choice question sheet for French.Apparently they are starting to do lots of homework online.

You have to log in to your account through school and fill them in in your own time.They can also submit essays!

The children who have no internet access are given more time in the IT suite so no-one misses out.

I think its a fab idea.Paperless homework can only be a good thing for the enviroment :D

Ryan does this too ( he is in yr7) they also have a no money in school policy too.

Parents send in a cheque or log onto the school website and put in money into their kids account, then when the child wants to buy something e.g lunch or snacks they have a finger print check out system that debits money from the account.

When we put money in we can restrict how much is spent per day and we can even view what he is buying :lol:

If the child needs money for the bus they can go to the office and get money out of their account.

I think its a fantastic idea :D

Elijah's school uses the internet too for homework. So much easier than them lugging text books home!!
