Got word last week from the council that we will be getting a new kitchen & bathroom. South Lanarkshire Council are replacing them in their houses over 5 years and as my luck would have it we're the last to get the damn things!
We had to go yesterday and have a look at what's on offer and have a talk on what will happen etc etc.
We should hear soon about someone coming round to the house to talk about what we want etc and then we will have to wait until between

They have a 5 year plan, 4 out of 5 homes are already done, every home to be done by April 2011, yep we are the last lot to be done! I said that when they announced the big revamp plan and I was right! Strathaven gets forgotten about all the time, last for everything! That's what we get for being in the middle of nowhere between Hamilton and East Kildride

But it is good to know they are getting done eventually!
