i was in the petrol station yesterday, not buying petrol but parked in a bay. i came out of the shop to see a bloke stroking my bumper. i said 'did u hit my car?' he replied 'um, yeah'

he swerved in as a car was driving out the entry, tut tut, swerved into space nxt to mine and his mobile went off in his pocket. he knocked my rear bumper and wheel, but his front bumper fell off lol

turns out he not had license long, hes 18 and was coming to work at the garage.
he said je doesnt wanna go through insurance, he will pay to fix, but i dunno, hubby looking into cost before i ring him.

I hope you get the damage sorted, however it's paid for. If it goes through his insurance he will be paying extra for years, so if he paid for the damage himself it will work out cheaper.
That happened me as a teen, I drove into the back of someone and I paid for the damage myself, rather than putting my premiums up for years.

As if you need that on your plate eh?! At least you weren't in the car & there wasn't as much damage to your car. Hope it's sorted soon x

Not what you need right now. Sometimes it is easier to just get te person to pay for it themselves rather than going through insurance. I'm lucky in that way - mum's cousin is one of the partners of a coachbuilders here in EK. Any bumps and I take it to him. He is really fair to us - and if it is something not caused by an accident he tries to give us it a little cheaper Good thing is the owner knows me now too. Last time was down for an accident - not my fault. Walter (mum's cousin) and John (owner) were arguing over cost - not for it being to much, but how low they could take it for me

Don't blame him for not wanting to go through insurance, he's probably paying through the nose for his policy already!
