As you know I only moved to our house last Christmas. So been in the new house 14 months in total.
However, with this mental weather we have been getting this winter we have problems.
We were out building Ella's playhouse for her birthday on Tuesday. I was off work no well, and Neil ahd come home to look after me. As I looked out into the garden, I noticed some rather large bricks on the grass. We figured we look into it this weekend, as couldn't find any obvious damage.
Came home tonight and there is at least 3 roof tiles - from the apex holding the tiles in place, are now strewn across our back garden, front garden, Neighbours garden and the road
What a nightmare. Neil is currently upstairs trying to phone a roofer who can come out tomorrow to assess the damage, and hopefully start getting it fixed.
However, it is forecast for gale force winds up to 90mph here tonight :( And with more snow due also, it may get a little windy and cold indoors for us
xx

No tiles fallen here, but our shed door got blown off it's runners (metal shed). I was a nice sight trying to stay on my feet whilst fixing it and then dragging the Little Tikes climber/slide over to try and shield the damn thing from the cyclone that was hitting us!!
Nightmare!
Hope you managed to get hold of someone x
