there was blood on the floor yesterday and we didnt know where it had come from - turns out it was the dog!
His back left leg has about a 4/5inch cut running up it - looks really deep.

Ended up at emergency vet - she bandaged it for the night and charged £70 for the 10mins we were with her!!!

So poor doggie is under G.A for a stitch up this a.m - really hope hes not damaged tendons - that will be a longer healing process and of course more money :(

Why dont we have pet insurance??? After the problems I have had with my cats you would think i'd have learnt!

I will keep you all updated, gotta ring at 2 to see how it went...

not sure how he did it Audrey but it is a clean cut - maybe a broken pot or something?? We walk through an allotment for his walk you see - probably never find out what it was!

A clean cut should be easier to stitch up, so your dog should hopefully be back to his usual self in no time. I'll keep my fingers crossed for him.
