Following the craze I have signed up for the usual deal websites - groupon, KGB deals, and of course Living Social.
Well the other week there was a waxing voucher for my local salon. I go there on a regular basis, for eyebrow wax and massage, plus a cheeky wee tan if going out The deal was £35 worth of waxing for just £9! Wow I thought buy that! Expecting to be able to use the voucher over a few visits.
Erm no! all had to be done at once! So Off I went yesterday to use my voucher in preparation for my hols at the weekend. And now I have almost no hair left!
Legs are waxed, eyebrows are done, underarms had hair ripped off and to use the last £7 or so I had to get my bikini line done as well If that hadn't covered my £35 I was going to have to look at the hair on my head - which post pregnancy is already falling out in massive handfulls every time I touch it
That'll teach me to really think if the deal is worth it in future

Pmsl Fee! Ouch at the bikini wax My frind is a beutician and she gave me one I swear I was screaming worse than I did during childbirth lol
Legs isnt too bad but underarms again Ouch lol!

lol - just remember to get it done again when the hair grows back!

Nope - will stick to using Veet in future. Not as painful, just as quick, and no-one can laugh at me when I scream May get legs and underarms done again though.

To get all that done for even only £35 is cheap!!!

I used to pay £80 to get a full leg and hollywood hotwax every 4 weeks.

I have found a beautitian who is cheaper and just better, but even now, a full leg and hollywood costs me £44 every 4 weeks. To get underarms and eyebrows done too, it will be £55 all together. At the other salon I used to go to, it would be just shy of £100!

That's really good. Before Jack's birth I used to get a Brazilian every 4 weeks at £20 (would like Hollywood but a bit too much of a jump to £30) and my eyebrows threaded for £5
Haven't been for a wax since Jack though, still a bit weary after all the tearing etc etc. but I will go again maybe in another couple of months!
