Hi, i'm rob and my girlfriend Vicky have just had our first child - a beatiful baby girl. after 6 days in hospital we've been home a couple of days now. totally wrecked and vicky is coping amazingly. anyway, just saying hi and will hopefully get chatting soon. rob.

We've called her Eva. she's been through the wars a bit in post natal (jaundice and infection) but she's really content now thanks. rob

What a lovely name.
They pull through despite the bad start. I have 3 girls - Ella who is 3 and twins Abbie and Katie who are almost 13 months. Abbie had a horrible start to life too, she was rushed to neo natal with breathing problems, and straight onto cpap. She came off it after 12 hours, but was kept in for the rest of the week, but when released home, both twins ended up back in neo natal refusing to eat. Katie was later released, but Abbie was kept in for another 2 weeks - so 3 weeks in total. Should say they were premies though - 6 weeks early
She is fine now, and in actual fact she is the wilder of the 2 now

Welcome to the site. I am Audrey and I have 4 children. My youngest will be 3 next month and my eldest is 10.

Thanks everyone. Now that we're all home we're settling into a routine. Eva's really content and doesn't really ever scream the house down. A student midwife did say that because she's 2 weeks early she may get more vocal once her original due date comes.
