I'm just in the process of buying lots of safety bits for my house and am in desperate need of some help when it comes to stair gates! I can't decide which one I like best and I'd rather go with something recommended where possible. Thanks everyone x

I've got a Lindam safety gate and that's been absolutely fine for me. They have a nice range that are quite stylish and reasonably priced, so I'd recommend x

We have lindam too. Just a word of warning though ( we have the extendable one) and it bends our banister to the point it is now permanently buckled - gutted as we had only been on the house 3 months and builders wouldn't fix it as our fault

remember to measure before you buy - we bought a gate for a doorway and it ended up on our stairs - even without the extensions! :lol:

i have this all-clear safety gate for babies called The First Years Everywhere gate and i love them. they are clear, so you can at least have an uninterrupted view of your LO. it's also adjustable and the color blends well with the house interior. got them online and love them.
