Hi everyone! I am doing the Race For Life again this year with some friends. It's to help raise funds for Cancer Research. I'm doing it in memory of my grandad who sadly passed away from cancer when he was only 60 & I was 19 :( & for all the other people I know who's lives have been affected by this horrible disease.

If any of you lovely ladies would like to sponsor me here is the link... http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/glitter-girls

Thanks in advance for anyone who can give anything. Every pound makes a difference! [smilie=001_icon16.gif]

Good luck with it, I'll be taking part in a local one again this year too, me and my sister have done several now and my little girl will be doing her 4th (she's only 6) which makes me one very proud mummy!

It's a great event though, have fun :)

Thanks for pointing that out Jess! How useless am I?

I have only done it once before but I really enjoyed it. kirkamon, if I had a daughter I'd love to have them take part too. I think it's a lovely thing for any ages to get involved in. My 3 boys will have to stand with their dad & cheer us along at the sidelines instead [smilie=clap.gif]

That's great news Jess. So lovely to hear of people beating Cancer. It's such a horrible disease to see people suffering with though, so I'm glad I can help in a small way x
