Can you help?
Everytime we get into the car, Ella complains of a sore tummy. It only happens periodically throughout the journey but it is every time we are in the car. Never anywhere else!!!
I am sure it is attention, but how do I stop this? Cos she starts screaming, and if I dont react another tantrum will always start

Lewis goes through phases of this. His trick is also a sore tummy and that he feels sick. Although he will actually try and make himself sick just for the attention.
I know his tummy has been playing up the past few days, but hes had no sickness so that's just attention seeking too. It's hard because like you say if you ignore her she has a tantrum, whereas with Lewis if you ignore him he will go on and on until he actually vomits! I tried just sitting him on my knee and trying to distract him with something else. It seems to be working, I doubt you would be able to do that if Ella is in the car and you are driving.

Lacey also started something similar, she uses the sore tummy technique and the I need a poo/pee, she knows we will need to find somewhere to stop so she can do the toilet. If we don't stop/give her the attention she thinks she needs she starts to scream/get upset. We now pick a special toy or 2 to take with us in the car and she likes to know exactly where we are going and to do what xx
