Well I am back from our holiday in Devon. Wasn't quite what we were expecting - we niavely thought that as we had booked a Hoseasons holiday it would be a holiday village type thing. Nope - it was a farm with converted barn into appartments in the middle of nowhere. We had to go about 20 miles to even get to a shop!
As a result of being in a field my hayfever was horrendous
Then on our second day the car broke down - almost resulting in me phonng my dad saying get down here to the middle of a field to save us ( have done that in the past - "dad I'm lost in the middle of a field pointing towards Gretna" and he found me hehehehehehe - but think almost 500 miles is a bit much ) Thankfully the car got fixed without costing a small mortgage and we didn't need dad in shining armour to save us
Ella had a ball - running about daft out in the field. So all in all a good holiday.

So what has been happening while I have been in the wilderness. Ohh it is good to be back in a city again

oh dear! Shame it wasn't what was expected but at least you got away for a bit.

Thanks ladies - Sal dont mind the wilderness - just not in hayfever season hehehehehehe.
Washing all done now and house almost back to normal. Unfortunately Ella still thinks she can get outside all hours of the day and fighting with me to get back into her routine hehehehe. Will post photos later on

Well at least you tried to make the most of it even though it wasn't what you espected it to be! Glad Ella had a good time at least and that Dad didn't have to come running to the rescue!

I can vouch that Sal's place is in the middle of nowhere! Road ends and gravel track begins and you think WTF?! You also hope and pray that you won't meet anything coming the other way!!!!

Compared to where we were Yvonne EK is a city
At least we have shops - it was about 20 miles to get to one down there.
