Is it true the a girls heart beat is 140 beats plus and a boys is less than 140 during pregnancy?

i think its an old wives tale! when i was pregnant with darren his heartbeat was always 154 beats per min.

Me 2 im getting abit obsessed with trying to guess the sex of this baby lol.
Ive done tests, the lunar calender, all the old wives tales even found a site where u can show your scan picture and people will use the skull theroy to guess the gender.

It not even the fact i want to no the sex its the fact i want to know its a girl lol

Myas was 140 beats and so's baby boys just over that (ithink) i agree with nat think its just a old wifes tale just like they say u can tell its a boy if it sounds like a train and a girl if it sounds like a galloping horse :lol: Myas sounded like a train to me and so did baby boys. :D

It can't be true! The male and female heart develops in exactly the same way in utero.

hi sarah here (newbie). I heard that if it sounds like a train its a boy and if it gallops like a horse its a girl.
