firstly welcome to the baby website forum.
:-)

is shannon teething? sometimes they get clingy when they are in pain.
or she might just be at the age when she realises she doesnt like to be alone, is she sitting yet? try and leave her in a safe place with a fave toy while u pop out the room, she will get used to it eventually

x im vicky btw, mum to 3 monsters! lol

Hi, i'm natalie and I have four children, youngest is 11 months.
My youngest daughter was exactly the same at this age. She has got better now she is 11 months but she is still really clingy. It can be really hard when you are breastfeeding as they rely on you for food as well as comfort. Stacey won't have a dummy either so this makes it even worse (all my other children had one) as when she is tired she wants me more.
I tried expressing milk but didn't like the sensation but if you can try expressing and getting someone else to feed her. Maybe a dummy or a comforter. All my older children had a teddy bear which had my scent as I used to carry it round with me and baby  until they got used to it and that seemed to help. She may just be getting used to the idea that you are a seperate person from her. Give it time. It will get better. x

She could be teething as whenever Toby is cutting a tooth he becomes more 'wanting mummy' with him, not always cuddling him but just likes to know I'm there.

Hope it eases a little soon

xx

I agree sounds like teething Lewis went through the same phase at about the same age too. Sounds easy to say but try and persevere things will get easier.

Just be sure it wont last forever! They do grow out of it, whatever it is - whether loneliness or teething pain.
