Hi hunny and welcome to this site ,
I am using APTAMIL FIRST . and it is very good , and i have been told by doctors that it is the best in the UK , and if you are using SMA , then try to change it , since i have been adviced also by doctors and MW that it makes babies sick !!
get well soon for both of you

I remembered , that my baby had this problem 2 weeks ago , and she is almost 4 weeks old
the problem solved by :
increasing the gap between the feeds to make it more than 3 hours as used to be
hope that helps you , hunny
good luck
Sarah xxx

Is it a recent thing or has he always done it? It could be reflux. Your HV or doc should be able to recommend something xxx

My baby is 6 months old and has been sick after every bottle since she was born (almost). I've tried every milk on the market, been to the doctor, the nurse, the midwife and the HV.

The result being that I have and I quote "an overactive greedy baby".

You get used to cleaning up sick. She hasn't lost any weight (in fact has gained loads!), she is happy and sleeps right through the night (12 hours) so was advised to "just put up with it!) :)

Now that she's on lumpy foods, the sickness has definately calmed down.

Hope this helps, your not alone out there!

Amanda :)

I used SMA for my babies and never had a sicky one. I think all babies react differently to different formulas and finding the right one for your baby is just trial and error.

Quite true,

Buy a few different ready made cartons to see what suits best, that way you're not buying tins of milk that aren't any use

Luke was sick after every feed and it turned out that he couldn't have cows milk formula. the doctor put him on soya and he was fine after that. There is also a lactose free milk that you could try but it is more expensive.
