Post subject:  Inspiration for a 4th Birthday Party
A friend of mine's planning a birthday party soon for her 4 year old son and is looking for some inspiration to keep a group of kids, lively mainly boys, happy indoors in case it rains (says she during a downpour :lol:). Do you experienced mums have any ideas I can pass on to her? Thanks!

Can't go wrong with good old party games at that age!
Pin the tail on the donkey but use something to match the party theme (eg put the treasure on the X for a pirate theme, Woody's hat on his head for Toy Story, Lightening's number for Cars etc)
Pass the parcel
Simon says (the pirate says, Buzz says, Mater says etc)
Musical statues
If she wants to make sure there are no tears for not winning, every time a child is out they get a sweet, so a couple of big bags of haribo come in handy :lol: (she could also wrap a mini bag of haribo in each layer of paper in pass the parcel)

how about a football coach if mostly boys and the girls would love it too? Louis went to a party and they had a trainee football coach and all the kids loved it. There was no pass the parcel but musical chairs and each child got to have a sweet of their choice out of the box.
