Hi all, just wondering what contraceptives you all use??

I cant take the pill so I am on Depo but considering the implants - anyone had those???

i used to take the pill but never got on with it so would be interested to see what other options there out there for after ive had this little one!

pill gives me the worest head ache ever

I've not had the implant, but I went on two types of the compined pill after being on the depo for a year and it made me feel like $hit! (You may remember my posts about it just before Christmas). I was always nauseous and depressed!

If we weren't looking to have another baby soon, I would have stayed on the depo or have had the implant. As it is, I am on the min pill now, and it feels no different to being on the depo at all! Quite a relief from being on the combined pill!

The other half has been 'sorted'!!!! At my age, give me 5 more years or so and I won't need to worry anyway. Could be earlier I suppose (no sign yet though - still as regular as clockwork!)

I was on the minipill for years and loved it. Just before we started trying for Ella my doc forced me to change to a combined pill and I had nothing but bother. Poss why we had so much ttc After Ella went to go back on pill, but begged Doc to give ne something different. Still not allowed minipill - something to do with it affecting migraines. Took it fir almost 10 years with no averse affects on my migraines. Anyway on a combined pill again and it is much like old minipill I had so much happier

i havent used any for years infact about 10 years now

lol - same in this camp too - other half has been "sorted" - no contraception needed in this house

I've only ever used the Pill, Microgynon 30 - never had any problems with it!
