Just trying to get to grips with photoshop. I think I might start using it instead of GIMP but I hate learning it all from scratch! Had my very first quick attempt at cutting etc to make my first PS siggy. It simple cos I have no scrappy kits downloaded on this pc yet, so it's just a quick first attempt, but I think it looks quite good

Thanks girls. Ste always uses photoshop for photo editing & keeps saying how much better it is than GIMP so I thought i'd give it a go. Need to try & find out how everything works & downlaod me some scrappy kits cos I lost all my old ones on my broken pc & I haven't downloaded any on this pc yet cos it's old & doesn't have that much memory Think I need to spend some time on youtube working out how to do everything, although I did manage to work out some things by myself when I had a quick go at making my siggy last night!

I really like your new siggy. I've never used Gimp, but I used to use Photoshop all the time whilst at Uni and found it brilliant. It's a hell of a lot better on a Mac than a PC though. Have fun exploring Photoshop! x

I only use Gimp because it's free I have looked at buying something better, but I can't justify the cost just to make siggies, so I'll stick with Gimp!

I think GIMP is fab, esp for free, but seeing as we have photoshop I thought i'd broaden my horizons a bit Need to get downloading bits now & also get some fonts downloaded cos I only have the boring standard ones!
