Can companies be misleading on their packets?
Eric got some pasta n sauce... Cheese, leak & ham! So yeah sounds good... But as I was reading the instructions I noticed the 'v' for vegitarian! When the front of the packet says Cheese, leak & HAM! Turns out in the ingredients there is absolutely no ham what so ever! So can companies do that?

Yes, I think you'll find that it was cheese, leek and ham flavour ....while it sounds silly it's also how we get smokey bacon and roast chicken crisps.
When you have children with food issues you get used to checking the ingredients on packets. The funniest thing is that gravy granules are entirely vegetarian...although they won't admit it LOL
