Hi Mummies! I'm new to the site but not a new mummy! I have an (almost) 8 month old and an (almost) 4 year old. I'm doing parenting a bit differently second time round (what some people may call 'alternative parenting' but I hate labels) We use cloth nappies (I'm becoming obsessed with fluff!) co-sleep, blw (kind of more Elizabeth led weaning!) and have recently gone organic, and have started mummy blogging...

Would love to chat with like mind minded mummies as I have an unsatified need for adult conversation!
:)

I have stayed in all day doing housework and packing for our holiday at the end of next week. No where fancy, just going to Scotland! But it's a holiday.
Do you grow your own veg too?

I went for a much deserved day without children, with my mum :) Didn't buy anything for myself, but bought loads for the house. How boring have I become :(

Hi fiffes, I'm the same! The only thing I get excited about buying now is nappies and kitchen stuff! Very boring! :D

audrey1234, Hope you enjoy your holiday, Scotland is lovely, hope you get some good weather! :D We had our annual holiday in Wales last month, it was fun but tiring, I felt like I needed another break to revover! :? I attempt to grow my own but am not very green fingered! This year the only survivors of 'the patch' are potatoes, radishes and maybe some tomatoes (if the slugs don't get em before they ripen!) We're lucky to have a friend who has an allotment so we get a lot of veg from him and also get abel &cole boxes delivered!

Hi Vicky! Thanks for the welcome, we were like that with Ben kept meaning to get round to it then with Elizabeth i finally did and don't look back, I love using fluff on Elizabeths botty! :D

I've had a bit of a frustrating Day today, missy is teething so has been clingy which has stopped me doing much housework (but the cuddles were nice) :) been waiting for an important phonecall that didn't come and found out a few delieries I've been expecting seem to have gone astray :(
