I have only ever used 2 doubles

maclaren twin side by side - heavy and very hard to manouvre!
Graco duo - one front one back - heavy and very hard to steer

I gave up and Kira walked everywhere in the end

We obviously need a twon pram at the moment. However as Abbie still in neo natal not actually used ours yet. I am a little old fashioned as prefer newborns to be lying flat and be facing parents. Also I don't like one baby to be under the other. I always feel sorry fit the one at the back who can only look st their siblings bum! We ordered a twin pram with rear facing lie flat carry cots which are side by side from eBay. It was a german company so not really sure of brand name.
