Freddy used to be a great eater until he was ill and then his appetite went downhill and he could quite happily get by with eating toast! I have started to cut out his afternoon snack and now by 5.30 he is so hungry he eats anything placed in front of him.I'm not recommending starving your child but cutting out this one snack has really helped Another handy hint is toasties.Strange as it sounds he's started eating loads of different foods just because they are in a toastie. He loves holding it and chomping away and doesn't really mind whats inside It may be worth trying your fussy eater with a toastie? xx |

I agree at cutting out his snack, Ryan and Alex are my worst 2 eaters and even the school asked me to put Alex on packed lunch after only 3 days and they usually try with kids from Sept right up until Jan but after 3 days they just said omg your right and please send him in with sandwiches I love the toastie idea, just chucked mine in the bin when moving as it was only me who used it but invest in a new one now and try the kids with toasties |

Thats a really good idea Julie, Callum is a terrible eater at the minute, yet he used to eat so well & eat anything. I'm hoping its just a bit of a phase, i'm gonna give the toasties ago if he doesn't like them, then I certainly will lol. Nikki x |

Lucas went through that stage but is back into eating most things now, it's Kian who is a nightmare!!! He wouldn't eat toasties either unless its something he liked inside but then he's older so he knows his own mind!! |
