They have to get the vote for the worst customer service ever. Back in May we called them to arrange a phone line to go into the property we were going to move into at the end of July, (a new build) The gent that first took the phone call was very pleasant but told us to take the job reference number and make a note of it as most of the time these things don't run smoothely (doesnt give you a very good impression when the people working for them say this) We had two telephone lines to go in a buisness and personal....We were also told in three days time someone from BT would call us back to arrange an appointment time and date...We waited and nothing. A week later I called them back it took me 55mins to get through to find out what was happening a job hadn't even been raised and were told again someone from BT would call us to arrange time and date...Did they you've guessed it NO!!!!! After calling them again and this time waiting 1hour and 15mins we viewed our consernes...We did eventually have someone come out but he couldn't connect either phone lines due to some kind of underground cabelling but assured us he would get this sorted ASAP....the next time BT came out they went to the wrong house and said that the property wasn't even built Again we called the next appointment we saw the BT van pull up outside the house look around and drive off again (nope he didn't think to knock on the door) By this time i was sooooooo mad. We mannaged to find out the Managing Director of BT email address so my other half emailed him Joshua was about 16ish weeks old and had not been well we have very little mobile cover in our area we had waited from MAY-SEPTEMBER (yep we live in the back of beyond) The Managing Director phoned Andy back and the matter was sorted in 3 working days, (shouldn't take that!!!!! to install a phone line) Emmm... when it was finally installed the first sngineer connected the wires wrong, which had to be rectified and guess what when our first bill came they had charged us for line rental from JUNE All sorted now but I feel better for my rant

I hate BT we nothing but trouble from them when we moved here, the people who lived before us had the same number and when we got our first bill through they had put the previous owners calls on ours

never ever again will we go with BT

Stupid idiots gave us the same phone number as a florist in the phoen book!
Sick of calls asking if it May's flowers so phoned BT today and they said we had to change our number!!!!
Just got used to this one, now gonna have to learn a new one and tell everyone
