We ran a survey recently, asking what parenting responsibilities and jobs you and your partner have as far as the kids are concerned, and the results can be seen here....

The Different Parenting Jobs That Mums & Dads Do

So which parenting jobs are your responsibility and which jobs does your partner do?

On the whole the survey reflects how things work in our house with a few exceptions.

I do the school run and dress the children (I have found my son in my daughters clothes and visa versa in the past so I think it is best ) ! but my husband cooks dinner (he is just a better cook [smilie=chef.gif] )and also he baths the kids

I do everything except mow the lawn and empty the bins!
My oh is pretty useless so its safer that way. Past disasters have included him wandering off when grilling crumpets, burning them and the smoke alarm going off, lots of washing disasters, shrinkage and colour runs. Once I was out and asked him to run a bath ready for me getting home, he did but fell asleep and when I got home it had overflowed causing the downstairs toilet ceiling to cave in and flooded the hallway. So I really dont mind doing everything myself!
