Just found out yesterday that our tip (middlefields for anyone in Shields) sells stuff off! Needing a chest of drawers for babies room so hopefully will find one today!
Had a look round the 2nd hand shops and one wanted £55 for one! Well I am not paying that So will report back my great finds!!!
Apparantly they sell white goods too and electricals, all checked, and all stuff people have taken to dump
Ours has a corner where anything reusable gets put and you can help yourself. I got a guinea pig hutch and coal scuttle when I took a car full down a few weeks ago. But it really is worth registering with freecycle. We got loads of stuff from there when we moved house, you can get some lovely stuff for the cost of t5he petrol to pick it up.
