Hi ladies,
My 2yr old baby has developed big red lumps all over her bum, even few down back of her legs and feet. The majority have puss in them, they are big, not wee little "milk" type ones.
Could it be heat from past few days? Also sounds silly but she has been paddling in those paddling pools in the parks.

Any ideas, is it worth trip to docs or just sudocrem?

took her to doc - chicken pox he says. but i am really not convinced. literally only from the waist down and no illness, no itching and they are really little now, yes look like bites but just way too many.....hopefully it is pox and we have them over and done with

I thought the spots sounded like chicken pox, although they usually cover more of the body. But not always, Jack had chicken pox a couple of months ago and he got spots on his arms, legs and face, but none at all on his body.
He did have a temperature and was sick a few days before the spots appeared, but the spots didn't bother him, and didn't last long either.

My 4 yr old has just came down with chicken pox. she is covered from head to toe bless her. Lily-Mae has seamed to come out in some spots simular to what you have said, she has them mainly on her bum and a few under her chin but i really dont think they are chicken poxs as not develped anywhere near like leanns has. I think with Lil it is teething rash combined with heat/sweating. Leanns spots was like a straw coloured fluid inside them and not as thick as puss is in a spot where lilys are more like a teenage spot lol. Hope your little one gets better soon :)
