Hi everyone,

I took a first response preg test two days ago, waited 3 mins and it was negative so shuved it in the draw, went back to the draw today to bin it and it was positive???? so i nipped to the shops and bought a Predictor test and not sure if it pos or neg. There is a line but so faint i can hardly see it. Could it be a water mark or a shadow?? Not sure feeling very confused, AF due tomorrow so guess i just need to wait and see what happens.

If im not preg then this will be my 3rd false pos :(

Fingers crossed for you. You could bring a sample into your doctors and they would test it for you. Then they phone you to let you know either way. I did that, just left it in then tried not to think about it.
My last time I was doing my shopping in tesco when they phoned me to tell me my news.
Good luck.

I always waited until I was a week late before testing so that positive lines would be fairly obvious. Doctors have always told me to go with a home pregnancy test as they are just as accurate as the ones they use.

I think you should wait a few more days before testing, just to make sure AF is definitely late.
Sometimes the cheaper tests are the best because you can take as many as you like just to be sure.

Good luck and fingers crossed.

I wouldn't rely on a test result after 2 days hun, although it is possible, i know someone that happened to! But they do say not to read the test after so many minutes.

Have you taken another test yet?

Good luck!! xx
