The sun is shining and the kids are indoors! I'm sure if it was wet and windy they would be crazing to get on the trampoline!!

I'm having a chill day, been to work for a couple of hours first thing and then came home to list some bits on ebay, still loads to do but I am about to pop off and bake some chocolate buns.

Del will be here in about an hour with her brood and then i wont have time for anything!

Very sunny, lovely Spring day here but quite cold! I was caught out bigtime this morning by DD3 Megan who some of you will know is in New Zealand 'travelling' at the moment. I checked my emails first thing and saw an email from her saying ...

"Hello, just to let you both know, I may have accidently had a small accident today in which I tripped stepping off the bus and broke my wrist.

Everything's fine its just a tad painful...I went to the hospital and I've spoken to the insurance people so everything is more or less sorted, just got to fill in some papaer work and stuff like that. I'm so annoyed because it means that I can't continue on at the moment, so I'm going to stay in Auckland for a couple more days until I've sorted everything out and then start up again.

E-mailing you because I know it's late there so don't want to worry you and have you ring me up when its night time.

No need to worry, I'm good, just a loss of dignity is all. ....." etc etc...

....as you can imagine I was in a right state and straight on the phone to her, nearly in tears, asking if she was ok... what did they give her for the pain... was she in plaster or just bandaged... did she need any more help with the insurance people and all that sort of stuff. She said I could help with one of the forms she was filling in and could I just check the date as she knew she was 12 hours ahead and wasn't sure what date to put on the insurance form.. I walked into the kitchen to look at the calendar and said it's April the.... ARGHHHHH!!!!!!

Yup!! I was well and truly had by my 19 year old. (She was 19 last week all on her own in San Diego!)

About to write her an email and trying to think of a way to get my own back....
