someone once told me you shopuld always have an even number - superstition, but i never felt satisified after 3, but now, after 4, i do. it's up to your own circumstances , and 3 is right for millions of families.

Any number can make a family (great help eh?!) After I had Lucas something told me he wouldn't be my youngest. I don't know what it was because at the time we were private renting a two bedroomed house that took up near enough half of the only wage we had coming in and there were no such things as tax credits! Even when we had all three kids in the one room I still had a feeling Lucas wasn't going to be my baby forever. Fast forward a few years and look who's here The same something that told me Lucas wouldn't be my youngest, told me Jaidyn will always be my baby girl. No more kiddies for me (I think 5 is pretty good going anyway ) I get broody with all the newborns around, but I don't want my own newborn! I'll hang on for 10 years or so and welcome my first grandchild with open arms

WELL...... I would love more, but I am stopping now! Pregnancy is getting worse each time with spd & had to have an umbilical hernia repaired after i'd had Zac (which was horrible so I wouldn't want that coming back if I got preggers again). Plus we only have a 3 bed house, plus it's more money, plus we'd have to buy a new car.... Plus (this may sound selfish) I'm enjoying having a bit more 'me' time these days & its gonna be a lot easier going places once Zac is a bit older with no pushchairs to take about or anything. Plus i've been changing nappies for the past 5 & a half years so it'll be nice when Zac is toilet trained & NO MORE NAPPIES!!!.... So the odds are against us. Although, never say never

I always wanted 1 before I had Isabelle, but my OH wanted 2, and I started feeling broody again when Izzy was about 18mths and Josh arrived a year later... I thought it was perfect having a boy & girl and the plan was to stop there! Then I got pregnant unplanned and in the midst of mixed feeling I miscarried, and then felt guilty that some how it was my fault for even contemplating not wanting another baby, and through that I realised how much I did... we had to go through another 2 miscarrages before we were blessed with Eliá and now we have her I know our family is complete, plus I couldnt even contemplate the risk of going through another miscarrage.

I have a girl and boy 18 month apart and they are only 9 month and 2 years 3 months so I would have to wait a little if I wanted to have another , but I just think that as I am in late 30s now and I didn't exactly breeze though pregnancies I will stick to 2- If someone could carry my baby for me and got though all the sickness, pain(and cancelled holidays but that's another story) lol I might be tempted LOL

I am happy with Rohan. I did have a time when I was sure I wanted more, but to be honest, that inclination seems to have left the building, at least for the time being. I dont know why, and maybe I will change my mind, but I am more than happy with the one I have and don't feel the need to have another. Obviously, I have thought of the pros and cons extensively, but I always end up back at the same decision, so I know its the right one for me. I believe its a very personal decision whether to have one, or 15
