Hi We're going to Jamaica for a wedding in a month and taking my (will be 5.5 months then) little boy. Should we take a car seat for while we are travelling to and from the airport etc..? I know it will probably be a pain to carry but I very much doubt that they will have them for our use in Jamaica. What have other people done when they have travelled with small babies?

Not really sure what to suggest
If you know that you will be using it while your away then I would recommend taking it. Plus they dont have the same road safety as we do here, people just learn to drive and drive lol So I dont think that you would be able to get one out there.
we took ours, i brought a carseat bag to put it in, from amazon, and as it was big i stuck some nappies in it, and just put it threw with the suitcases, they did not even weigh it..
Just to let you know, I took the car seat. We flew with Thompson airways and they allowed us to put it in the luggage hold without using it in our weight allowance (which is great). We had a spare one that a family member had given us - I don't think I'd put the one we'd bought in the luggage hold though because they probably get bashed about a bit. It was a god send to be honest as we travelled a few times and I think I would have been worried sick without it

It's National Baby Massage Week 13-18 May, and it's got me fondly reminiscing about the wonderful baby massage classes I took my two boys to when they were tiny.
