Calling all you lovely Welsh girlies. We are thinking about going to Wales this year with Ella.
Can you reccomend some the best places to stay - our preferences would be somewhere that provides a high chair, and cot to save us some space in the car,and somewhere near a nice beach> Also can you recommend places we should visit - we would have to come end of June beginning of July and Ella will be about 17 months old by then
Thanks everyone [smilie=001_icon16.gif] [smilie=001_icon16.gif]

Gower is lovely. Used to go with the kids every year when they were little to a place called Neuadd Farm Cottages in the West. Google it - it's lovely and so safe for little ones. :)

I cant recommend anywhere because Ive never been!
Really wanting to take Lewis away on his holidays though, not somewhere far just somewhere to have a nice break with him!

Been thinking about Scotland for a few days because Si's granny lives there. The only thing putting me off is that she lives right in the sticks and It takes flippin hours to get there lol

The last time I went I was 8 months pregnant, had horrendous car sickness, took us almost 9 hours to get there and to top it all off we crashed into a deer lol! Scarred for life I am!

We used to love Barmouth. We used to go every year without fail when I was a kid. Not been for about 10 years though so it may have changed there but they always had Blue Flag beaches, which is 1 thing I always look for. Also Tenby is nice, a small little town with another nice blue flag beach :D

Thanks ladies. Still looking into it all.
Yvonne - not just the brolly full raincoat and waterproof trousers is it not? hehehehe
Jess - where abouts does Si's grannie live? There are some really gorgeous wee towns north of Scotland. As Yvonne says tho, make sure you bring you brolly, and of course Avon Skin so Soft for the daft midgies - a total law unto themselves those things
