Before I had the boys my periods were ok. I didn't get much pain & they were moderate flow-wise. But since I had Zac they have been horrible. They're so heavy now for the first 2 days & then light for the remaining 3ish days, Also my period pains are worse now, especially the first day of my period. I get a bad ache in my back & stomach but also down below if I have been on my feet a lot :(

I was just wondering if anyone else had worse periods after having kids?

I used to have crippling pains pre-Oscar and post-depo provera. It was so bad that I had to take days of work because of it: I just couldn't move. The flow itself was medium, and I was as regular as clockwork. Thankfully, it never lasted longer than 3 days.

Now however, they're all over the place. I was on the depo for a year, and came off it last October. During that time, I had no periods at all. I went on the pill for 2 months, and that messed me up like you wouldn't believe.

However, at the beginning of the year I started the mini pill and the bleeding stopped. For some reason though, I have had AF the last two months at exactly 28 days apart, which is what my cycle used to be, with old-school period pains to boot! Go figure! :?

I'm glad it's not just me then! Don't you just hate being a woman sometimes. Men have it so easy. Suppose it's just as well though... imagine a man with PMT, it'd be a million times worse than man-flu!

Oh God yes! Mine has completely changed! I can tell exactly when I ovulate and if I didn't know any better I would swear my period was about to start as the pain is the exact same (before it was just a dull ache). I get a 'warning' 1-2 days before hand too (quite handy really )of a slight pink tinge when I wipe (TMI soz!) so I know it's on it's way! Then I have 2 heavy days followed by 3-4 light days. Fortunately I only get pains on the two heavy days.

I swear I'm coming back as a man!
