Grrrrr is anyone else here overdue?? I was 40+4 with DS1 and 40+13 with DS2 both were induced so who knows how long they would have dragged out!! I am now 40+2 and counting with DD1 and wondering if I will ever experience going in to labour naturally!? Had more BH lately bit more intense but other than that no signs, no show, NOWT!!

Booked in for sweep on Thursday but it didnt work last time so not hopeful, just wondering if anyone else has had similar i.e consecutive late babies!! It's not even like I get time to get bored with a 4 and 2 year old to run round after daily, but as this may be my last baby I'd like to avoid an induction if I can and Ive had more walks, sex and curry than you can shake a stick at, the wives tales dont work lol xx

Ah your baby is so comfy in there that they dont want to come out!

I'm sure that DD1 will put in an appearance soon - I dont think that any of the theories work otherwise no one would have babies over their due date! (I elective c-sect for breech so cant help out much sorry!!) xx

Mine was breech til 36 weeks, I prayed for a section as I know the pain of an overdue child x2 lol, didnt happen and here I am again

I have 4 children and all of them were overdue. The first one I went myself 10 days over, second time I was induced 11 days over, third one I went myself 13 days over, fourth one I was induced 14 days over.

Both times I went into labour myself, they were girls, the two that were induced were boys.

I hope you go yourself before they start you off.

Ah, it must be lovely and cosy in there for your little ickle ones! for them to not want to leave their mummy's tummy!

I can't help at all, I was only over by a day and it was the longest day of my life!!! I hated the world and everything in it! God only knows how bad I'll be if I'm even only a week over! I'd probably...... definitely, absolutely, kill someone methinks!

I was induced with all 3 of my boys. With all of them I was induced at 10 days overdue. DS1 came 2 days later & DS2 & 3 came on the day I was induced! We must have comfy tummies or lazy babies or both

Haha thanks ladies well that makes me feel alot better knowing Im not a freak for having 3x overdue kids. Im not too bad this time with frustration Im just keeping myself busy with boys and telling myself that by the 25th she WILL be here lol so im just trying my best to relax and enjoy whats probably my last pregnancy

Can't help sorry. Was 3 weeks early with Ella and 6 weeks early with twins. Went on my own. With Ella waters broke etc but with twins it just trickled and had to get it broken. Was miserable this time with twins and had tried many of the "solutions" but nada. On a down side I was 25 hours in active labour with Ella and a further 2 hours being stitched. And wait fir it ............. Almost 27 hours in active labour with twins.
Hopeful it will happen soon.
