I have discovered a new world for Abigail! She has glue ear and we are waiting for her appointment to have gromits put in, however meanwhile, whilst at my osteopaths, i mentioned this to her and she said have you tried cranio osteopathy to drain her ears! Of course i sparked at this with interest and she told me all about it. Well today i took her to see our paediatric specialist in cranio osteopathy who told us loads about her Spina Bifida and how she is recovering from her surgery etc and that she cant say for definite (as they cant) but she reckons she to the build up and stretch of her spine and scar tissue its put pressure on her head and drainage from the tightness which has caused the build up in her ears, so releasing the tension of her spine will hopefully drain her ears and she wont need surgery touch wood it all works!
ANything to stop her going through surgery again makes us very very happy yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Treatment 1 was today and she was lovely and Abi did really well and was happy and relaxed so lets see what happens watch this space xxx
