Lewis has this now :(
It doesn't seem to be bothering him, only about tea time he gets a bit whingy and wants to sleep eat but calpol is sorting him out. I noticed a few little spots on his cheek on Monday morning but thought nothing of it thought it was dry skin spots starting from the cold weather. Then when I picked him up from nursery his little cheek was red raw. Apparantly a few kids have had it in the nursery so it must be passing about.
It feels slightly hot but doesn't seem to be bothering him. Read on the Nhs website that it usually goes away on it's own, but if it is bothering to go to doctors so I think were ok for now.

Jaidyn had it when she was at nursery, locum doc diagnosed it completely wrong and gave her antibiotics. I was convinced he was wrong and my mate, who's a nurse, said it was fifth disease (another name for slapped cheek) and antibiotics would do nothing. Good job too as she wouldn't even take one spoonful of the foul tasting stuff
