The cupboards are bare. We didn't have a chance to do our weekly shop this weekend gone, so we're out of most things. I was hungry so looked to see what I could make to eat. Oddly, we have every ingredient needed to make an apple steusel cake! We even got given some apples from our neighbour who has an abundance of them from her tree. Since I have been so rediculously good with my new healthy eating for over a year, am mainitaining the weightloss, and my muscles are getting more and more toned by the day......I've decided to make an apple streusel cake, with some buttery caramel syrup and possible eat that with some clotted cream vanilla ice cream just to celebrate my wonderfulness.
If it's any good, I'll post the recipe up for you all.
Happily, tomorrow is pilates day. That means a 2 mile walk to and back from the gym, as well as an hour of pilates, so there's no gulit involved as I'll burn off all the calories tomorrow!
