i took out my car insurance with these as seemed ok a thought a reputable company anyway today my policy came through and i couldnt find anywere that i can drive another vehicle 3rd party usually comes as standard when getting fully comp
anyway gave them a call and the lady couldnt understand why it wasnt showing with my age and the amount of time ive been driving and 9 years plus no claims discount anyway she went to speak to someone else and they explained its because im a housewife so because i stay at home to look after my children i cant have this on my policy i asked could i add this on as when michaels in hospital it is a must i was told no it comes as standard and because im a housewife i cant purchase it i have logged a complaint and cancelled my policy with them but have suffered a £25 loss because ive cancelled it
sooooooooooooooooo angry with them ive told them fine but i am going to tell the world about them doing this and it is discrimination
found another policy same price only get a theft tracker included
so goodbye to axa insurance

OMG, I think I would take it further and complain to the insurance ombudsman. Maybe they could even help get some of the money back you have lost. I used to work in the insurance industry and 99.9% of the time they sided with the customer so definately worth a go.

That is really bad!! I bet they don't advertise the fact very well either and many people wont think to check their policy over to find if they can drive another car 3rd party.
