i took out my car insurance with these as seemed ok a thought a reputable company anyway today my policy came through and i couldnt find anywere that i can drive another vehicle 3rd party usually comes as standard when getting fully comp anyway gave them a call and the lady couldnt understand why it wasnt showing with my age and the amount of time ive been driving and 9 years plus no claims discount anyway she went to speak to someone else and they explained its because im a housewife so because i stay at home to look after my children i cant have this on my policy i asked could i add this on as when michaels in hospital it is a must i was told no it comes as standard and because im a housewife i cant purchase it i have logged a complaint and cancelled my policy with them but have suffered a £25 loss because ive cancelled it sooooooooooooooooo angry with them ive told them fine but i am going to tell the world about them doing this and it is discrimination found another policy same price only get a theft tracker included so goodbye to axa insurance
OMG, I think I would take it further and complain to the insurance ombudsman. Maybe they could even help get some of the money back you have lost. I used to work in the insurance industry and 99.9% of the time they sided with the customer so definately worth a go.

That is really bad!! I bet they don't advertise the fact very well either and many people wont think to check their policy over to find if they can drive another car 3rd party.

thanks ladies i have asked for a written explaintion to this so i will have it written down from them so then there will be no denying the fact and i told them i will make it known my response was ok fine to them charging me the £25 as when i spread the word about this they will loose more than ther £25 in custom i will take it further as soon as i get the written reply another mission

WTF?!!!! So as a housewife your car won't break down or whatever and you won't ever have to borrow a car?!!! What a load of tosh!!!! Avoiding like the plague!!
