Hi everyone! I am doing the Race For Life again this year with some friends. It's to help raise funds for Cancer Research. I'm doing it in memory of my grandad who sadly passed away from cancer when he was only 60 & I was 19 & for all the other people I know who's lives have been affected by this horrible disease.

Good luck with it, I'll be taking part in a local one again this year too, me and my sister have done several now and my little girl will be doing her 4th (she's only 6) which makes me one very proud mummy!

I have only done it once before but I really enjoyed it. kirkamon, if I had a daughter I'd love to have them take part too. I think it's a lovely thing for any ages to get involved in. My 3 boys will have to stand with their dad & cheer us along at the sidelines instead

Aww that sounds lovely! My grandad got all the clear a few weeks ago after getting over bowel cancer, the doctors and nurses were excellent with him too. He's looking great now!

i will when my new card comes i will just have to try to remenber. Cancer has effect r family loads over the last few years so i hold my hat off to everyone who does the race well done you. I would love to do it x
