I ordered the fabric from ebay last night. I've opted for black denim and a patterned fabric. I'm going to make a Mei Tai :)

I still need to practice with the sewing machine a bit more until I feel confident enough to use the fabric I've bought :D

I will post a picture of it when it's done :D

Last night I cut all the fabric into the pieces needed to make the carrier. Tonight I will be sewing the waist straps and the body panels. I will need an evening set aside to sew the shoulder straps as they are really long!!! :D

I'm going to take pictures as I go :)

I wished I could do something like that. I can't knit or sow. My mom is really good at it. She has made curtains and pelmits for people in her spare time. I am good at drawing which I don't know where I get that from :D

I can knit but I wouldn't even know what way was up on a sewing machine....when all the girls were doing sewing lessons I was doing metal work :D
