Kathryn's right, 'traditional' names are coming back. If he's not too keen on it try spelling it in a modern way to see if that makes him like it more!

I wouldn't spell a different way, thats a pet peeve of mine. :)
We don't really like Modern names, so thats not his issue (Waverly was a patient of mine in an old age home, lol).

He just thinks its too common, hes very picky about popularity.

Yvonne you pleb!

I prefer the more traditional names too, and am not keen on the more common ones, or ones that seem like their misspelled!

What names has DH come up with so far? Is there any room to compromise?

He likes Romilly, and Anastasia ,my name is Stacy, so he thinks it would be a good way to honor me, and use Ana as a NN, which we do both adore.
I am not sold on it, b/c it doesn't seem to mesh with Waverly at all to me.

Romilly, is often mispronounced when I say it, so that bothers me.

I also like Wendy quite a bit , I haven't ran it past DH. Its just if I do the two W's .. will I have to continue this if we have another?...ykwim?

argh, I hope its a boy, he already has a name (Tobin) :).
